Our History
In 2013, founders Joshua Allen and Keith Johnson formed Priority One with the personal commitment and driving goal to offer superior management services to all its clients in the Lynchburg Area and its surrounding Counties.
They began with only 9 townhome units under management but now after 10 years of business together, Priority One currently manages over 2,800 property units in the city of Lynchburg and its surrounding Counties.
In 2015 Priority One started to offer Community Association Management services for HOAS, POAS, and COAS. As of 2024, Priority One manages 32 communities in Central and South-Central Virginia and collects over $2M in assessments annually.
In 2018, Priority One began purchasing investment properties and over the past 6 years, Priority One has successfully flipped and sold over 40 properties in house.
In 2022 Priority One obtained its Class A residential contractors license and began a construction division that oversees property purchases, repairs and maintenance to properties or communities under management, and new construction builds. This division has quickly grown with 2 - 4 man crews that provide masonry, concrete, asphalt paving, framing, roofing, remodeling, painting, additions and new construction services to our local area. Along with this growth, Priority One has obtained large equipment such as Dump Trucks, Pavers, Skid Steers, Excavators, Backhoes, Tractors, and Trucks, to provide a wide variety of services to our growing business that is generating a new revenue stream for the company.
Joshua Allen holds a real estate broker license CRB and the Priority One firms license, and Keith Johnson holds a CIC community management license as well as a RBC Class A license in the state of Virginia.
